The section will be covering Supplier, Further, Image, Special Offer and Custom Fields tabs of the New Stock Item window. If you're interested in anything on the Primary Tab, please see Part 1 of this guide.
Each item is capable of having 6 suppliers saved against it. Supplier 1 is considered the Primary Supplier. If you selected a Supplier on the Primary tab, that Supplier will appear in the Supplier 1 box. This will include the Supplier Cost, Pack Size and Supplier Code that was entered on the Primary tab.
The information that is exclusive to this page are the Discount, Lead Time and Additional Charge.
This is the percentage discount you receive off the base supplier cost of this item. This will automatically discount the supplier cost by this percentage when ordering items via the Replenishment Orders.
This is an informational box designed to let you know how much time you will need to give your Supplier when ordering items.
This is an informational box designed to let you know how much extra a Supplier could charge you fore ordering this item.
This function is active by default and will reduce the stock levels based on the amount purchased during a sale.
If active this function prevents this item from being updated during a Stock import.
LEGACY FEATURE - Marked for removal.
When selling an item, enabling this option will force the user to select a customer before completing the sale.
Each item can have up to 5 price levels. The Selling Price is considered Level 1 Selling Price. Other price levels can be accessed via Customer Groups or Customer Type (Silver, Gold, etc).
Designed to warn the staff member when a scanned product reaches a certain remaining stock amount. This warning will trigger at the entered amount. This means if you enter 3 into this box, and the product you scanned has 4 remaining in stock, no warning will occur.
This box will contain any codes that has been generated by an external accounting program.
This is an informational box designed to hold your Target Margin for the product. This allows you to reference this number when setting your prices and having the software work out the item Margin.

Record your stock storage location when being held in your warehouse/storage area.
Each item can have it own measurement and weight recorded in the system. Weight information can be used in the Replenishment Orders.
When filled in, this box will display an alternative to the Name of Item in area like the Second Screen Advertising or potentially on receipts.
Designed to show a message to the staff member when scanning this item into the sales cart. Can be set to remind / inform staff about the product when selling it.
Each item in the system can have 1 image attached to it when being created. This image can be displayed to the customer during a sale, placed a on sales screen button or used with your web integration.
Once an image has been copied, either from a file or from web source, you can use this button to attach this image to this item.
You can upload images directly from your computer.
If you have a Webcam attached to your computer, this option will allow you use it to take a picture of the item.
This option allows you to remove the picture from the product.
The Special Offers tab allows you to add an item to an already existing Special Offer or Bulk Discount. The Special Offer or Bulk Discount must be created first, before appearing in this list.
This section allows you to add completely custom fields to the item. Similar to the Special Offers, Custom Fields must be created before adding them to an item.
