Guide - Stock Images

Introduction

The Premier EPOS software is capable of saving 1 or more images against individual items. These images can be used in areas like Second Screen Advertising or on Web Integrations.

The Stock Image section is located in the Stock Manager. Please see below screenshot.

Once in the Stock Manager, the Image tab is located here. Please see below screenshot.

Image Tab

When using the Image tab, you must first search for a product in the product search area. Upon selecting the product, you can now move to the Image tab. For this example we will be adding images to the product, Coca-Cola Original Taste 24 x 500ml. Please see below screenshot of the empty Image tab with our example product, Coca-Cola Original Taste 24 x 500ml selected.

Once inside the Image tab, the control options are located on the right hand side of the window.

Image Tab Functions

Add Picture to Database

This is the primary function button of the Image tab. You will use this function to add the images to products. While multiple images can be attached to a single product, each image must be attached individually.

Set Main Image

This function indicates to the system which image is the main or first image of the product. The Main Image will be displayed on the Second Screen Advertising by default when selecting a product in the Sales Cart. The Main Image will also be the one used by integrations for websites, as the first image on the web page for the selected product.

Delete Picture

This function will remove the selected image from the product. Images must be removed individually.

Take Picture From Webcam

This function will allow you to use a connected webcam to take your own images of the product. An external webcam will be required for this function.

Obtain Image For Selected

This function will search online by either the, Name of the Product or Barcode, via public information on the internet to retrieve a possible image of the product. Premier EPOS does not guarantee the accuracy of these results.

Attaching the First Image

In order to attach an image to a product, you must first search for that product in the product search area. Upon selecting the product, you can now move to the Image tab. For this example we will be adding images to the product, Coca-Cola Original Taste 24 x 500ml.

Once in the Image tab, you will press on the Add Picture to Database button and select you first image from your files. Please see below screenshot.

Once you have selected your image, it will appear in the Image tab. Please see below screenshot.

Attaching Additional Images

Once the first image has been attached, additional images can be attached using the same method as the first image.

As you attach each additional image, the newly attached image will set as the Main Image. In order to set a different Main Image, you will need to select a different uploaded image on the Image tab and use the Set Main Image button. The will be a pop-up window to confirm your selection. Please see below screenshot.
