Premier EPOS App - Sales

An in-depth guide to Sales via the Premier EPOS App

Introduction

The Premier EPOS App's Sales function provides users with the capability to add items to a virtual cart. This feature is designed to streamline the process of setting up transactions that are ready for the Till to process. While users can efficiently prepare sales within the App, it is important to note that the completion of transactions cannot be executed through the App itself.

Using Sales

Once you selected the Sales option from the main menu of the App, you will be presented with the Select Cart menu. Please see below screenshot.

On the Select Cart menu, by default you will be able to see Carts 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. If Carts 1, 2 or 3 are visible, it's because they currently have products present, which have been added by the main Till.

In addition, any uniquely numbered cart that has been filled by any Till, will also be present on the Sales Cart menu. This will Cart 9 or higher.

You can also setup custom carts, with unique names and they will automatically appear on this list. The custom cart list is intended for cafe/restaurants using a table system. For example, Cart 101, could be setup as Table 1.

After selecting a cart, you will next be able to select a customer. Please see below screenshot.

To add product to the cart, you can either scan barcodes directly or use the Find function to search for products by name or supplier code.

Once you have added items to your selected cart and selected a customer (if required), 2 new options will appear, Pay Now and Save As Quote. Please see below screenshot.

Please note this option is currently NOT available. All transactions must completed the on Till software.

Save As Quote

If you do not wish to complete the transaction immediately, you can use the Quote function to save the product details for a sale at a later date.
