This window will allow you to create new users on the EPOS system. Here you can set a password for each user, as well as what level of access they will have to the EPOS.

While user accounts do not require a password, we would **strongly recommend** setting a password for each account.

To start the process, you will need to enter a username. Please see the image below for reference. If you do not have access to a physical keyboard, pressing the green on-screen keyboard icon will open a digital keyboard.

Once you have entered the name and password, you will then need to select a user access level.

Each level of user access below **Super Administrator**, is highly customizable.

**Super Administrator** is designed to have complete and absolute control over the EPOS with no restrictions. This user level should be reserved for store owners or similar.

The following is a brief description of each level of access for users with an example of access:

## **Restricted User**

This user level is intended for Temporary staff. It has very limited access by default. Its primary purpose is to make sales.

## **Generic User**

This user level is intended for standard staff members. It has limited access by default. One of the major differences to that of a Restricted User is this level of user can make stock level changes.

## **Supervisor**

This user level is intended for senior staff members. It has limited access by default. This level of user is capable of completing refunds with receipts.

## **Manager**

This user level is intended for members of staff in charge of a store. It has a medium level of access. Manager is the first level of user that is capable of changing/deleting customer data.

## **Administrator**

This user level is intended for members of staff in a very senior position, possibly in charge of multiple stores/staff members. It has a high level of access. This user level has very few limitations.

## Super Administrator

This user level is intended for the business owner and has no restrictions in the software.
