Guide - Selecting A Customer

An in-depth guide on selecting a customer on the Sales Screen

Introduction

One of the basic features of the Premier EPOS software is to select an existing Loyalty Customer on the Sale Screen. This allows you to track their sales and in exchange the customer could gain access to unique offers and points.

The default Customer selection button

You will find the Customer selection button on your Sales Screen. Please see below screenshot.

Once you press Customer, the Customer Selection / Editor Window will appear. Please see below screenshot.

Customer Selection / Editor

The Customer Selection / Editor window is the primary way to find and select customer on the system. You search for the customer's details on the left hand side of the Customer Selection / Editor Window. Please see below screenshot.

Once you start to type in a customer's details, the system will search in real time for the customer's information. Once you finish typing in the customer's details, you're now ready to select from a list of your customers. Depending on how many Customers you have and what you are searching, the system will bring up all relevant results. Please see below screenshot.

Once you have highlighted the Customer you wish to select, you can press Accept. By default, the highlighted selection will be coloured grey. Once you press Accept, the Customer Selection / Editor window will close and customer will be selected on main Sales Screen. Once selected, a customer's name and number will appear in bottom right had corner of the Sales Screen. Please see below screenshot.

Additional Customer Information

Normally the Sales Screen will only display a Customer's Name and Customer Number. The Sales Screen has additional display options for customer's details. This can include name, points, customer's email address, etc. Please see below screenshot.

This information is highly customizable and can be placed any where on the Sales Screen.

Loyalty Card

A direct and quick alternative to searching for Loyalty Customers is too swipe a Loyalty Customer's Loyalty Card. These cards can be purchased directly from Premier EPOS or a third party printer company. Once you've assigned the Customer to the Loyalty Card, swiping their card will select them immediately.
